February T2W

Be Bold: Wake Up, Rise Up and Remember Who You Are!

Join us this month, as we study another aspect of Christ-like boldness:
BE FOCUSED.

Have you ever watched video of a lion prowling and stalking their prey? They have laser type focus. Nothing will keep them from their mission of serving others in the pride by providing a meal. Do you have your focus on God's mission for your life?

Saturday, February 11
9:00-11:00 am
PBC Reception Hall*

We have spent the last two T2W's being inspired and discussing author and speaker, Lisa Bevere's insights and observations of lionesses. In her book, Lioness Arising, she shares how God gave her a powerful image of the similarities between lionesses and His church. Come discover with us how we too can have the boldness of a lioness!

"These people rise up like a lioness;
Like a majestic lion they stand!"
Numbers 23:24

Join us as we continue to grow in our knowledge of lioness-like boldness and how God wants to utilize those same characteristics in our lives and for His glory!

We'll be searching through God's word as Christ himself was tempted to get distracted on His mission. Let's seek together what God says about overcoming distractions in our life and identifying them.

Jesus knew His purpose and would not be derailed. Do you know yours or do you find yourself like Doug from the movie Up? I think we all can relate!

*T2W will now be held in the church reception hall. Coffee and tea will be provided. Please feel free to bring a breakfast dish, pastry or snack to share but it is optional.

Childcare is available for children 4 and younger, but you must call the church office at 316-788-3734 or register using this form by Noon on Friday, February 10.

*"Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled." Titus 2:3---
